Something in line with your goats above, we'd often fly along the
beaches on Sable Island watching thousands of seals peeling into the surf as they saw us coming along at low level. One of the crew suggested that I go down to the turret and 'cull them', He got only some dirty looks from the rest of us for his suggestion. No doubt - we had some thoroughly NQR guys in the aircrew rates, but most of us were, by definition, volunteers in a life saving profession so true sadists were few. Lets see... Mark. Definitely. Wait - that other Mark too - yep, he was a sicko. And No Neck, geez, what a pervert. Aaand Mr. Clean, with his obvious phobia.. "Is my hair ok? No, really?" Collectively, we probably owned 60 guns between the 15 of us, Danny, sickest of the bunch, had just about every gun the Terminator ever used. For some reason, all but one of the Mikes in our shop were as normal as most folks you pass on the street, but I guess at least on the surface, we MAY have come across as odd as a group. MAY. G |

I know that mortars are good against goats. I was a guest of an infantry company during one of their firepower demos - in a far gone previous life. We had about half a dozen rounds in the air when some genious spotted a herd of (maybe) 60 goats in the impact area. Thank you for not asking why the range officer didn't spot them sooner - his story was that they wandered out of a nearby copse of trees. I scored a ride out to the impact area wit the demolition guy to check for blinds - we all knew that there weren't any but it was a 'precaution'. It was hard to tell how many goats were killed, I'd say most of them, the others split up and hid in the trees (a leg here an ear there). Cheers Dave Kearton |

Hey, Mango, when did YOU visit Russia? Never? Then pipe down.
I have many Russian and Serbian friends. They tell me that zio-NATO will pay with blood, with blood, with BLOOD, with BLOOD !!!! the illegal bombing over the independent and Christian country of Serbia. Zio-NATO is cursed. other post-electroshock dribbling drivel snipped Geez. What a freak. Does this remind anyone else of that Serbo-Canadian little kid that came in RAM spreading all kinds of stupidity about two years ago? Methinks he has a new ISP... G |

"Chad Irby" wrote These kids nowadays... no stamina. Back in the old days of the net, we used to get really hard-core, serious net.kooks who kept at it for years and years, like Ted Holden or Serdar Argic. And they were *serious* loons, who kept coming back with new and improved kookstuff. Or some DO keep on for years, but keep on with the exact same crap. One Dr. Michael J. V*******, still orbiting the bicycle groups springs to mind. Pete |
