Default Longest Flight in a wooden glider?

Was Wally Scott's August 23rd 1967 flight of 888km from Odessa, Texas to
Casa Grande, Arizona in Ka-6E the longest flight in a wooden glider? or
has anyone flown a 1000km in a wooden glider ?

Google search didn't reveal the answer.

David Stevenson has flown close to a 1000 km OLC in a Ka-6 on the Appalachians several years ago.

Define "wooden" The AS-W12 probably has more balsa in it than fiberglass, volume-wise.

A true "wooden" 1000 km zig-zag on the Sierra Nevada / White Mts. is certainly possible in wave or on a good thermal day.

Not Staight Distance, but 1000KM OLC flight in a 6E had been done.

Impressive - but what about a 'proper' FAI 1000k flight?

There are still a few frontiers left in the world, it seems.
