Default Small Library of 8 Aviation Books Available

I currently have a the following set of 8 aviation/aerodynamics
related books available as a group for $30 plus $5 postage (Media Mail
postage within the US). The books a

"Aerodynamics" by N.A.V. Piercy, published by the English Universities
Press, 1937. First edition. The 423 page hardbound book is in good
condition. It is an ex-library copy with the usual stamps and card
pouch, and has been rebound in a library binding. The inside pages are
clean with no page tears or pen marks, and are bound tightly. A nice
working copy of an early technical text on aerodynamics and flight.

"An Aerospace Bibliography" by Samuel Duncan Miller, published by the
Office of Air Force History, 1978. The 341 page softbound book is in
near fine condition, fresh and clean inside and out.

"Basic Aeronautics" by Merrill E. Tower, published by Aero Publishers,
1952. The 252 page hardbound book is in about very good condition,
clean with no page tears or pen marks, and a strong binding. It is an
ex-library copy from an aviation research library with stamps and a
bookplate, but is otherwise very nice.

"Careers in Aviation" by Ben B. Follett, published by Waverly House,
1940. The 254 page hardbound book is in about very good condition,
clean with no page tears or pen marks except for a previous owners
name and address inside the front cover. Covers show some wear from
age, but not too bad. A nice look at the early aviation industry.

"The Airman's Almanac: Annual Book of the Air Age 1945" by Francis
Walton (Editor), published by Farrar and Rinehart, 1945. The 512 page
softbound book is in good condition. Covers show some wear from age,
and a few pages have bent page tips. A nice vintage World War II era
book of aviation facts.

"Administrative Aspects of International Air Transport; Fourth Wings
Club Sight Lecture, April 19, 1967" by Sir William Hildred, published
by The Wings Club, 1967. The 47 page hardbound book is in fine
condition, fresh and clean inside and out. No dust jacket (as
published). A tight and solid copy. Blue cloth covers with silver
lettering on the front cover and spine. Published as one of the Wings
Club "Sight" Lectures. Hildred served as Britain's Director General of
Civil Aviation during WWII, and afterwards, as Director General of the
International Air Transportation Association, a post that he held for
20 years.

"The Physics of Aviation: An Elementary Text on the Theory of Flight"
by the US Naval Academy Dept. of Electrical Engineering, published by
George Banta Publishing Co., 1944. The 139 page softbound book is in
very good condition, clean with no page tears or pen marks except for
a previous owners name on the title page. Lower corner page tips are
dog-eared a bit, but not too bad. A nice vintage WWII era training
text on the principles of aircraft flight.

"West with the Night" by Beryl Markham, published by North Point
Press, 1983. The 294 page softbound book is in very good condition,
clean with no page tears or pen marks except for a previous owners
name inside the front cover. Beryl Markham's memoir of life in Africa
and aviation. Markham was the first person to fly the Atlantic solo
from east to west, in 1936.

If interested, please email to reserve. Thanks.

Dave
