Default Books?

It's winter here and I figure I should spend some of the time furthering my book knowledge of soaring. I fly XC and compete, but in hanggliders not sailplanes. I assume there are well regarded books from the sailplane perspective out there. I'm looking specifically for anything that gives me better insights on how weather patterns change over the day, planning long xc flights, reading clouds & micro-meteorology, competition, etc. I mostly fly in the flatlands.

Thanks!

My favorites in order of preference:

“Advanced Soaring Made Easy” by Bernard Eckey
“Cross Country Soaring” by Helmut Reichman
“Meteorology For Glider Pilots” by C. E. Wallington

I would think that there is much in G Dale's books that you would find helpful: http://thesoaringengine.com/

just wanted to thank you, I picked up both of G Dale's books, and they are great. Just condensed information on all types of lift. I know most of it, but I'm definitely picking up bits and pieces, and perspective that I was unaware of or had not considered in a certain light.
