Default Anyone familiar with Whiteman AFB?

Is anyone in the group familiar with Whiteman AFB? Specifically,
I'd like to photograph the B-47 that is on static display on base.
Anyone know where the B-47 is currently located? Can it be seen
from a gate area or from any locations off base? Getting onto
Whiteman is difficult, and I'd like to avoid going through the
process if possible.

All the aircraft are on base. You might contact the base public affairs office
for a pass just to photo the plane. Shouldn't be a problem as the flightline
areas are separately secured. A picture ID shouldbe all you need unless the
base security level is up.

It's well inside the base, by the Control Tower and PX/Bowling Alley
area:

Get with Public Affairs, and they can advise you of any tours, or
find an escort for you.

No longer a SAC nor a SAC Museum at Offutt AFB. The aircraft once part of
that museum are part of a newer museum at
