Yes, Albuquerque Soaring was first in the US for the
second year in a row (and third in the world club rankings in 2005, one place better than the year before). And yes, the ridge bashers are off to a flying start -- but then we like to give them a bit of a start. Just for encouragement. And yes I was abducted in May -- but by the US military. They were conducting a gps test (diversion test that is). I never could get the OLC people to correct the record ... And even if you knock off the added 75 miles of electronic mystery tour, we still were first by a country mile! Fly far, fly fast and log every flight. howard (1XX) |
