Losing a wing in flight? by
cavelamb himself[_4_]
I can't decide.
Did this really happen?
Or is it doctored?
Too much important stuff happens off screen, and the landing
doesn't look real.

Nav lights/switching power supplies by
[email protected]
Jim Weir..the articles in Kitplanes on subject didn't discuss noise
generation from the oscillator cycling output voltage to LEDs. Is
there a noise filter requirement to minimize disruption of radio
operation?

Any experimental designs without rudder pedals? by
Jim Logajan
Are there any experimental/homebuilt designs that are roughly analogous to
the Ercoupe in not needing rudder pedals? I haven't run across any, but
that probably just means I'm not doing a good search job.

O200 titan cylinders by
Philippe Vessaire[_3_]
Hello,
I just receive today my new cylinder assy set.
I see a plus on the intake port (perhaps 1/8NPT). Original continental
cylinders don't have this hole and plug.
what may be the fonction of this hole?

CAM BEARINGS & CRANKCASE SEALING by
[email protected]
TO ALL (!! -- A 'Must Read' for all Engine Builders)
It is NOT 'string' it is SILK. More specifically, it is #50 THREAD,
although I have seen a German-born, factory-trained mechanic spinning
free a few STRANDS from silk embroidery thread. This method applies
ONLY to the crankcase's EXTERIOR...

Help! by

Where are you?
I've got a blog. I've posted about 300 entries to it. And a lot of
folks have answered back, asking questions. But a lot of them haven't
provided me with a return address.
In some cases I've posted a reply right in their remarks but often
times their requests ask for such a...

Stewart AFS by
Michael Horowitz
I have some questions concerning the Stewart AFS.
I'll contact them directly during the week but would like to hear what
the group says.
Do you know where the STC begins? By that I mean do we need to start
with bare metal and use their propriety primer, or will zinc oxide or
2 part primer work...

Powdered zinc oxide? by
Michael Horowitz
other than for medical purposes has anyone seen powdered zinc oxide
that could be mixed with a second agent to produce a specific quantity
of zinc oxide liquid (which could then be sprayed or painted on)? -

Good post by BWB by
Flyingmonk[_1_]
He even mentioned a good friend of mine, Gil Armbruster, who also
perished flying his homebuilt Revolution Mini500.

Badwater Bill by
Ed
I did know Bill personally and always found him a facinating
character. Every time I did post to rah Bill would always simply reply
" I thought you was dead" I'll really miss him.
