Scott 3200 tail wheel by
IAN DONALDSON
G'day from Australia
I am looking for a Scott 3200 tailwheel for my Murphy Rebel.
I would be pleased to know if anyone has one under their workbench that they
would like to sell, or where I just might find one.
Thanks and regards

Disney Airship, circa 1980s by
JAX
Hi - I'm looking for any information about the airship built and flown
by Disney at their park in Florida (I think) in the 1980s. The gondola
was a tube frame, it had a rotax engine and fan in the back, a water
ballast system, single occupant/pilot flew at the very front. Any
information, specs,...

OSH '05 Comments by
PPT33R
Another great OSH. The number and quality of the exhibits seems to
improve each year. I especially like the Miller Welding trailer. My
girlfriend even got to play with the plasma cutter, and she liked it
(maybe helping me justify a future purchase ;-)...
We met the MotoArt guys (from the now...

DAVIS DA - 8 by
Sbtypesetter
About a dozen years ago I had several phone conversations with
Lleon Davis. He sent me some literature and an 8 x 10 of the
(DA -8?) TX-1. The plane has been built but Lleon offers no
plans for the plane. Has anyone heard of someone who has bought
this plane and will be offering plans for it? ...

Speedbrakes / DLC for homebuilt? by
Bob Martin
I got to thinking the other day on the way to work... would it be
feasable to implement:
1. A set of speedbrakes, say on the fuselage of something like an RV-6,
operated by a parking-brake style handle (where the flap handle
currently is, necessitating electric flaps)? Could be useful if...

mhorowit
I may have an opportunity to trailer a Taylorcraft, and am looking for
picks of how others have moved the fuselage and wings.
If you have pics of how someone did it, I"d appreciate seeing them.

Dacron vs. polyfiber etc. by
Adam Aulick
What are the relative advantages and disadvantages of "normal" modern
fabric coverings (doped and painted polyfiber) vs. the stitched,
zippered sailcloth coverings (dacron, others?) on many ultralights and
new LSA airplanes? How are the sailcloth coverings attached?
The Aventura 2-place homebuilt...

Oh, that Muzzleloader! by
Bob Chilcoat
My brother Ed and I stopped in to see Chuck at the CGS booth last week. He
let us sample some Muzzleloader, which I'd never had, since he missed the
one Pinkneyville flyin I got to so far. I think we had less than two
tablespoonsful each in the bottom of little paper cups. I'm not...

What's with this flurry of spam?!? by
Rob Turk
I'm seeing massive amounts of spam on this group, is this just on my
newsserver or all around? It doesn't show up on any other newsgroups on this
server. My guess is that a subscriber to rah has it's system infected with a
spambot virus... Could everyone check/update their vurusscanner...

Updated Oshkosh Frequencies by
RST Engineering
I just had an email from a feller that used my Oshkosh frequency list and he
said:
133.85 and 126.6 both seem to be used by the Warbirds Airboss. Those
will let you know when explosions are coming.
If anybody has any more updates, I'm ready to take them and refresh the
list.

Baby Ace by
W P Dixon
Anyone ever had anything to do with this plane, I really like it. Just
wonder about the gear used on modern versions. Such as what type wheels
/brakes? I actually like the original simple rubber/washer combination in
the landing gear itself. Any experiences?

Fly Baby Plans Back on the Market by
Ron Wanttaja
Fly Baby plans are now available again.
The cost has risen to $145, but it does include both the monoplane and biplane
sections, and the plans set has a new lay-flat binder. Pete hadn't raised the
plans price in the last twenty years, and when they surveyed the market, they
found that most...

Oshkosh Pictures by
Marv
I was at Oshkosh on Sunday and Monday and took a few pictures.
I posted some of them a couple of days ago but have added an option to
click on a picture as a "thumbnail" for an expanded view of that
picture as well as some others that are related.
I have posted a couple of pictures of an Innodyn...

Best NC mic? by
Dean A. Scott
What's the best noice cancelling eletret mic for high-
noise, open cockpit operations (Rotax 503 tractor prop
5 feet out in front of windshileded cockpit)?
Flightcom has their A7A.1, Sigtronics has their M81-H,
and then there's all these others, like M54, M55, M56, M90,
M7A, M4, PA-4, PA-9, etc....
