remote controllable transponder by
Stu Fields
Anyone know of a transponder that can have the codes switched from a remote
set of switches and a remote Ident button? I guess I'm asking if there are
access points in a connector where this could be done, or has some whiz
already done this? My helicopter likes it when I keep my hands on the...

Helicopter Pilot Jobs by
Helicopter Pilot Jobs
Hello to the forum!!
First post and it's one for the rotorheads. I wasn't sure whether to post it here or under another section but I am sure if it needs to get moved/duplicated the moderators will do that.
Anyway, this is a website that was designed, built and is maintained by helicopter pilots....

Helicycle by
Stu Fields
Well, advancing age brings with it some clear thinking and some not so
clear. I have purchased a Helicycle Kit and still own my Baby Belle.
People with more than one helicopter that aren't in some commercial business
are at least suspect. My wife is probably just patiently waiting for me to...

Blade de-lamination by
Stu Fields
Recently there was an accident with a very low time (3hr TT)RotorWay
helicopter being piloted by a high time RotorWay experienced instructor and
the owner a commercial rated helo pilot. They were hovering at a 3' level
with the owner at the controls when it snapped rolled to the left so hard...

looking far a really great article by
Steve L.[_1_]
Hi,
I am looking for a helo magazine article, someones opinion on the last
page. It compared helo to fixedwing ops and had some very good thoughts.
One of them was that airlines make everything adapt to them to increase
safety. They operate in an almost completely known environment like
runway...
