Why hope for the Sport class when you could build the Europa Long wing and
fly with a motorglider endorsment within the current rules..... as few
already are - one such pilot is Dave Anderson as was published in a recent
issue of Kitplanes Magazine (see

down the page). 140 knots up high ain't bad.

Inexpensive and claimed build-time is short. No welding.

I'm especially interested because I can't get an Airman's Certificate
(take medication) so hope "Sport Pilot" certication will be available.
