Does it stop oil from coming out of the breather onto the belly of the
plane?

So far, so good. There is no oil on my aircraft's belly, and it's been on
the plane for over a month. (Perhaps 12 hours of flight time?)

Usually it would be a greasy, dirty mess by now, and I'd be conning my 14
year old son into cleaning the belly. ;-)

The oil level is down MAYBE 1/4 of a quart from the 12 quarts we put in.
By now I'd have added at least a quart.
