But that's why I'm a (rare) proponent of a liberal arts education.

broader (some might say "more useless" :-) education of a liberal

degree goes a long way toward teaching one to think, study, and
learn.
And that, in the end, is all you can really hope to achieve in

programs that are at the foundation of our wretched education systems.
