Not necessarily the next ice age. If global warming is really
happening, this may be a natural feedback mechanism in action. More
fluffy white clouds means more sunlight bouncing back into space, whcih
means less reaching the ground, which means lower temperatures. Which
then may mean less evapouration and less clouds...

Whether or not such a negative feedback mechanism exists is I think a
foregone conclusion -- it does exist. The question is how effective it
is, and if it is effective how well damped it is.
