The best glue man and money can buy nowadays is "Gorilla glue"

This stuff is great and sticks to most everything. Nor will it attack most
foams...just be sure to test beforehand. A few caveats are in order.

Practice on a scrap before you use it on the trailer. It expands into a foam
to about 4-5 times the original volume. If you think you're using too little,
you're probably still using too much!

The glue also relies on moisture to trigger it. If in a really dry air (10%
moisture), lightly dampen one surface and apply to the other.

Home Depot and most other major hardware stores sell it for $6-7.
