Fuel Level Sight Gauges

My Savannah kit came with a preformed nylon tube used for this purpose.
I like it because it is simple and effective, and only has two joints;
the points of attachment to the tank. The bends were heat formed, I
guess. I don't know what grade of nylon is used, but it is sort of
miky white, but gas is easy to see in it. Nylon is used in lots of
fuel system parts in automobiles, so this seems like a good choise.

I am building a BushCaddy which is very much like a Cub in appearance.
I have been searching for good quality Fuel Sight Gauges that get
mounted in the cabin through the wing root. have been unable to locate
anything so far. Does anybody have a source or lead? Thanks. Don...
I bought a glass sight gauge that is used in hydraulic systems. The
seals are Buna-N. It was only $15 or so (working from memory here).

This is by far the hardest lesson about freedom. It goes against
instinct, and morality, to just sit back and watch people make
mistakes. We want to help them, which means control them and their
decisions, but in doing so we actually hurt them (and ourselves)."
