The Hay's brothers ( the owners of the Ornithopter ) closed their machine
shop and retired and it was to costly to bring any more. (EAA would not cut
them a break in pricing). I will miss them as well......!!

What a shame. My kids have literally grown up with that silly
ornithopter flapping around OSH every July, and both of them (ages 12
and 15) asked "Where's that goofy thing?" at various times during the
week.
