I'd love to hear from people who fly in the area and have advice on fun
flights to do locally - either sightseeing or $100 burger style.

In no particular order:

1.) Visit PVC (Provincetown) & take the $1 bus or expensive cab to
Clem & Ursie's on Shank Painter Rd. & downtown. The airport is
located within the Cape Cod National Seashore National Park. Excellent
whale watching leaves from the P-Town pier.

2.) There's a very good to excellent pilot shop across the street from
Norwood.

3.) EEN (Keene) has an interesting Indian restaurant.

4.) BID (Block ISland) has Bethany's Diner, and of course Block
Island.

5.) The Simsbury Fly-in (4B9) is two weeks away.

6.) Goodspeed (42B) has a real opera house with professional theatre
and downtown restaurants a short walk away, along with an interesting
location on the CT river.

7.) You can land on grass and go to the beach @ Katama (1B2)

8.) Next year's AOPA Expo is @ HFD in Hartford.

9.) There's an air museam @ Bradley Int'l

10.) Providence (PVD) has a Hooter's across the street. G

If you fly over Westover (CEF), watch for C5's doing pattern work, as
it is one amazing sight to see from above.

Have fun!
