So far , tipping in favor of the DC... I have been told the Bose are

They are, but who cares?

Did you know you get a 10 hour or so LED warning that it's time for new
batteries?

Did you also know that the batteries are a simple pair of AA cells,
easily carried, or purchased in any quickie-mart?

If the headset didn't shut itself off (I think the DC does, as well), I
think battery issues would be a bigger deal. I'd rather enjoy superior
comfort EVERY flight, than worry about something that has a very low
chance of catching me by surprise, and is easily rectified at that. My
co-owner has an off-brand set that uses 9V batteries, with no
auto-shutoff. He pretty much replaces the battery every other flight.

Heck, I have three AA powered flashlights in the plane if I lose my
spare batteries. On the other hand, my 2-4 spare AA's work in all my
devices. G
