Both CDR/2 and RSJ seem
to allow only one write session, then lock the disk. And a long enough
write session to do some good loses track of itself.

Huh? RSJ can work long enough to fill a DVD. It does have issues, but
there are workarounds.

You have issues too, Dickless. There are no known workarounds.
