Back in the early 1990's, the 13 (or so USAF) caretakers on Diego Garcia
placed the sets of chocks on an apron, had an operating APU (with a
power cable seemingly attached to nothing) and made an announcment that
a stealth fighter was available for inspection. The navy brass were not amused...
