"Yann D" Polish pilots fought with the Armée de l'Air in 1940 (some
became aces)
then, with the RAF.
So did Czech pilots.

RAF Squadron No. 303 was manned by Poles. It ended the Battle of
Britain with 126 victories, the highest of any RAF squadron.
