The real LP was grieved to hear of BWB's demise. She's disgusted to
think some asshole would use the occasion of BWB's death to try to
besmirch her good name and his memory.

I noted the posting came from Databasix too and suspected a "Joe
Job". But I was not familiar enough with the historical context to
determine whether others already suspected the post was potentially
forged. Thanks for the confirmation.

I tried to use Google Groups to try and get an idea whether the post
was in character. Because of the sheer volume of postings, it was
only possible to review snippets from the Google Groups archives -
but it seems that as long ago as 7 years ago Ladypilot had been a
victim of impersonation.

Well, she does actually have a databasix account. Could be a
froggery, but I have never noticed a reticence on her part to shy
away from pointing one out...

I suspect K.A. Cannon. Everybody knows Kevin's elevator doesn't go all
the way to the top floor. And he's one of Usenet's biggest Rubes so
the language and tenor of the froggery fits him. Also Lady Pilot told
him to go jump in the lake when he made a pass at her some time ago
and he's never gotten over it. Really, it's kind of sad that perhaps
the first grown woman in twenty years he's made a pass at laughed and
rejected his advances. So there ended one of his very infrequent
forays into heterosexuality.



But Kev prolly doesn't know who BWB was, and Ladypilot definitely does.
I do think she had some trouble with him OK. God knows that was easily
done.

And just what does that say about Lady Pilot? She's so hot she can
turn homosexual men straight and straight women into lesbians.
