I'm working on making the side scroll wheel working for zoom in the

map
window but can't get to fix the snail trail so far.

Yes, the snail does fan out as you say. Version 5.1.9 gccB6. Scroll wheel
zoom would be good. I also notice that the snail turns on even when set
off in the config. It can however be turned off using the display menu.

I will try com6 and see what I get. I did ask HP which ports were used on
web chat but they said 'sorry, 3rd party sw not supported, foad!" No
wonder they cannot compete in this market!
