Mike Marron commented without knowing the facts:

So are clueless military aviators who think buzzing livestock is
funny (hint: guess who ended up buying all those dead turkeys?)

Sorry Mike, but the turkey farm was dead on the centerline of a published
lowlevel training route (legal to 500ftAGL). The turkey farm was built after
the lowlevel route was established, 8 years after IIRC.
The training route was well know to the population, especially the conservation
people.

I will admit that the nudist colony NW of Hutchison, KS was not on the
centerline of that route, but it was within the approved corridor. And we were
looking for red commie infiltrators from Nebraska, and we were 500ft AGL there
also, legal again.

Then again you probably want to complain about the tip tanks we punched off
after the eagle strike. JP-4 laden drop tanks are a bit hard to climb with in a
crippled airplane on a hot day. We probably created a hazardous waste situation
that someone had to clean up, but the option was a flaming crash and dead
bodies.

And to steal from Geoge Gobel, during that entire time period, not a communist
unit larger than a platoon infiltrated south of the Iowa and Nebraska state
lines without being detected.
