colony, Canada,
Canada wasn't a "colony" in 1945 and it took Britain until 1954 to eliminate
rationing on some protein sources.
by then with the U boat problem suppressed.
suppression of the "U- boat problem", what U boat problem were they
suppressing for most of 1945.
