I'm sure you've all seen the media eagerly keeping score of the deaths, lost
structures and acreage burned. I'd like you all to know that real people,
while regretting the losses, are far more aware of the number of SAVES and of
the people doing the saving.


Too bad they don't concentrate on that, but once people are far enough
away to not be involved it's the sensationalism that grabs the
listeners and viewers.
