This is true, but on the other hand, a big provider like AOL or
Earthlink will cache web pages and images in a proxy, so one hit
from AOL might potentially serve thousands. The number of hits
is a very rough indication of traffic; running the logs through
an analysis package like Analog or Webalyzer or even grepping the
logs for unique host requests for the index page gives a more
accurate indication of traffic.

I never in my wildest dreams ever thought that the website would ever be that
popular. But as time goes in it seems as though the number of hits per day is
slowly increasing. Now you tell me that it may be well more than 50,000 hits.
My minds boggles, Stay tuned. More stuff to come. And thanks for the kind
words. I really appreciate it. Did I ever tell about the time the 344th
attacked....oh well that is another story for another time. (grin)
