Default Need Info - Flying to Calgary (CYYC)

I'm planning on flying into Calgary next month for a few days. I'll go IFR
and have the Canadian charts, maps, etc., have Customs info, but a few
questions remain.

(1) Airways or Direct crossing border?

My US(LO) 17 and 7 show only two Victor airways ... V-181 HML to YWG going
north out of Grand Forks and V-21 going north out of Cut Bank to YQL. There
is a lot of miles of bordor space between these two. Are you required to be
on one of these airways or can one fly "direct" as we do in the US? Can one
file from say Glasgow (GGW) direct Medicine Hat (YXH) thence V-305 to YYC?

If going direct, it looks like a 100 or so miles of uncontrolled airspace to
go through in Canada. Is this allowed on an IFR flight? I've flown thru
uncontrolled airspace between Dickinson and Aberdeen in the US on IFR direct
flight plans and ATC hasn't gotten excited or even said anything about it.

(2) Multiple Arrivals Used at Calgary?

Man, there are a bunch of them. Does general aviation below 10,000 get
assigned one? (From experience, not usually when going into KMSP, but
almost always going into KORD, so I'm unsure what the SOP at Calgary would
be.)

(3) FBO at Calgary?

Anyone know where it or they are located on the field? The Aerodrome Chart
shows a Customs at the south end, south of rwy 07 and west of rwy 34. I've
seen nothing to indicate where if the Customs and FBO are somewhat
co-located.
