Dead Reckoning Equipment. By this I mean such systems as the AN/ASN-7 Dead Reckoning Navigation Computer by Ford Instrument or the AN/ASA-14 Dead Reckoning Tracer by Servo Corporation, and their precursors. My interest is primarily in the origins of such systems - the people (both in industry and primarily in the Navy) and companies connected with their development - the experiments and the breadboarded first attempts. Articles, books, manuals, personal reminiscences. Can anyone out there help me?? Ed Wysocki |
