Default LAX Today - 10/18/10 plus some OT [09/13] - IMG_7097.jpg (1/1) 163572


Making the rounds, she is. This critter belongs to, and has been
parked out front of The Museum of Flight here in Seattle for the last
couple years, but headed east for The Last Time flight of Goonies this
summer. Good to see her stretch her wings.

Default LAX Today - 10/18/10 plus some OT [09/13] - IMG_7097.jpg

On the website your link points to, it says "The Museum's DC-2 was a
former Pan American Airways aircraft that was flown by the Douglas
Historical Foundation until McDonnell Douglas' merger with The Boeing
Company in 1997." Is this the same airplane that flew out of LGB (where
Douglas Aircraft Co. was located)?

Here is the only picture I could find of her. Looks to be the same one.
Shot at LGB airshow, sadly, I didn't record the date.
