Ah, but I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now." When was that written? [When I'm...] '64, or course. :-) The Byrds? Yup g ....but Bob Dylan wrote it. My Back Pages is the name of the tune. http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0367555/ No Direction Home: Bob Dylan (2005) By: Martin Scorsese This was a two night PBS special this winter. OUTSTANDING! Dylan was a GREAT interview subject. This documentary surprised me - how well it was crafted and how interesting it was. I wanted "more!" "more!" "more!" when it was over. More meaning: 1966 (London) through 1975. Hope that's in the works. Scorsese's documentary starts, and ends, with the 1966 London crowd booing and walking out on Dylan. Montblack Our family Dylan connection - my older sister helped install custom stained glass windows, 30 years ago, in his MN house. She met his brother, IIRC. Bobbie wasn't home. |

![]() "ChuckSlusarczyk" wrote in message ... In article , Ron Wanttaja says... I see Chuck S. won an award... "best antique ultralight." I think it refers to an airplane. :-) http://www.sun-n-fun.org/content/int...yin/2006awards I'mmmm baaaaack!! :-) Got in last night. Saw the car fires we all thought at first that a plane went in .Glad it wasn't a plane but those who lost cars weren't happy, but at least there were no injurys. Crowds were down for sure, that's based on observations and the amount of literature we passed out. That's interesting. We camped adjacent to a lady who volunteered at registration. She said they were experiencing record crowds, and that they were having to skimp on some of the give-aways at registration, such as the stickers... No zoom sightings so my $100.00 reward goes unclaimed :-( In fact there were no ANN sightings ,usually about 3 or 4 ANN reporters stop by to say hello. There were none to be seen unless I missed them but I wasn't told by any of the booth workers that any ANN people were there. So I suspect ANN was not in a highly visable mode. A few RAH types stopped by even those were few and far between. Our Hawk Owners party went well and the guys from Moto-Art stopped by for a while . Hawks won 2 awards one was indeed for the best antique "airplane" not pilot,LOL!! We formally presented the original CGS Hawk prototype to the Sun n Fun Museum. We had it on display during the show and did 3 crow hops with it.I flew it down the runway for the last flight and it was kinda emotional to shut the engine down for the last time. It will probably be on display for next SnF. I now have a plane in 2 museums ,my Easy Riser in the EAA Museum and my Hawk at SnF . It centers around there last concert. Great flick, I also want to get the Dylan one when it's out on DVD. My favorite! OK I'm giving away my age! John |

In article , Charlie says...
Aww, who needs Dylan when you've got Chuck. Standing back there with my self-authorized backstage/tent pass, he didn't sound too bad. Of course there was that 5-10 minute period when he didn't notice that he had stepped on his own guitar cord & unplugged himself... Yeah I get to play a couple times a year and it's still fun. I played in a band for 10 years and quit in 1975. We were a good bar band but never made it big time .That's when I decided to get into something that made money ...aviation!! Strike two LOL!!! I remember the cord being out but since I don't play any leads I didn't notice right away. I don't think it could ever sub for his day job, but he was a lot of fun to watch, making up lyrics to blues tunes & encouraging Team Redneck. Thanks for an enjoyable last night at SNF, & for the blues lullaby, clearly audible over in Classic Camping. The light & sound show between midnight & dawn weren't nearly as much fun. Next time I see you performing, I'll introduce myself. Glad you had as much fun as we did ,hope you got a sip or two of the Muzzle Loader :-) Stop by and say Hi next time ,you got a stage pass :-) See ya Chuck -- NewsGuy.Com 30Gb $9.95 Carry Forward and On Demand Bandwidth |
