CFB GOOSE BAY, Nfld. (CP) -- Two British Royal Air Force pilots suffered
minor injuries when their jet skidded off the runway at Canadian Forces
Base Goose Bay.

Their F-3 Tornado touched down in Labrador on Monday during a heavy
rainstorm and began sliding across the tarmac.

"It started to skid towards the side of the runway," Capt. John Pulchny,
a Canadian air force spokesman, said Tuesday.

So that's where John is; I didn't realize he had joined the "flack"
troops.
