BTW: I know that in the US, you make a difference about "forward" and "side" slip. How would this one be called? Maybe an "inertia induced wing level straight forward slip"? :-) I'd like to emphasize that I usually land in a crosswind pretty much as you are describing, I fly coordinated until Thank you, Todd.
