Gasoline for jetengines on non jetairplanes
Max Richter wrote
many C119/123; B36; Neputnes and several other airplanes with reciprocating-engines were fitted jet -engines as "boosters". Now the question: did they use avgas for these jets or jetfuel from a special tank ? The Neptune "de-fuelers" burned 115/145 right along with the R-3350s. Bob Moore VP-21 1959-1962
