Oshkosh Accommodations?

Here's the good news¡K I'm asking about the 2008 show.

I'm just wondering if anyone has advice on accommodations. I found the U
of W dorm rooms interesting at $50/night except there's no air
conditioning. I've had people tell me they can get pretty hot in some
years, (I don¡¦t do hot). I guess they've got some new AC rooms for $75/
night.

In checking motels in Oshkosh and Appleton they seem to be in full on gouge
mode upping the rates from $100 to $200 during the show.

A perfect world for me would be $100 (or less), air-conditioning, a TV and
a less than 30 minute drive to the show.

Am I dreaming?
