Default Oudie 2 + CAI 302 Utility

Hi Nick,

I don't think there is anything Naviter can do to get the 300 Utility
compiled to run on the Oudie's processor. Cambridge would need to do that.
That's not going to happen.

Therefore I recommend sending a friendly note to Naviter asking them to make
it possible to edit the parameters below on the 302:
- Pilot Name
- Logging Interval
- Polar Data
- cruise vario type
- etc.

SeeYou Mobile offers similar functionality for the V7 and LX1600.

However, since the 302 product line is not currently in production, I can't
imagine they will be too motivated to put a lot of work into supporting it.
But it doesn't hurt to ask.

Best Regards,

Paul Remde

Hi Paul
Thanks for the reply.
I am using Connect me to up load waypoints and tasks to the 302/303. That
is working OK.
And I am using a Ipaq with a cable to use the 302 utility but it is a pain
to do that.
I'll post a note to Andjei [ sp? ] at Naviter again and see if they are up
to into putting a update on the list to do for the Oudie to allow other
programs to run on the Oudie
Regards
Nick

Hi Nick,

I tried. It didn't work. It was quite a while ago, so I don't remember

if

it didn't run at all (I think that was it) or didn't communicate.

I recommend using ConnectMe for flight log downloads and using SeeYou
Mobile
for task declaration uploads. For editing the pilot data and polar data
you
may need to use a PC or iPAQ - but that data is normally edited very
rarely.

Has anyone successfully loaded the 302 utility program on to a Oudie and
make it function?
I would be grateful for information on how to do this.
