So does that mean that if my name is Edward Allen Albaugh, I couldn't open
an "EAA Flight School"? That sort of seems odd.

Three points.

I believe you'll find that the EAA does own "EAA".

If it intrudes on their space (which it does) then you cannot. If your
name is McDonalds you cannot open a burger shop in your name but you
could sell lady's underwear under than name if you choose. It just has
to create confusion for customers. In addition it only applies where
you do business (i.e. there can be a A-1 termite company in Los
Angeles and New York that don't intrude on each others space). In this
case the OP is Canadian I believe, I'm not sure if there is an EAA
presence in Canada or not.

Subject to where you opened that school, you might be challenged by EAA.
In the OP, they are South Africans who are running servers in that
country and whose name is Exxxxxx Axxxxxx Aviation.

From a website that has EAA in the middle of its domain name.

Remember when the World Wrestling Federation was calling itself the WWF?
The World Wildlife Fund (the folks with the Panda in the logo) put an
end to that and they weren't even dealing with the same general subject.

We could do that.

There used to be this shop on the corner across from my school where
this old fat guy with thick glasses and suspenders sold us pumpkin seeds
and penny candies, and single cigarettes when we got older ( around 9) .
I think his name was "Mo".

Now, I gave you an opening for a gay lame as a gift there.
Cuz i'm a givning sort of Bunyip.

....and that's a crock, because the wrestling federation was in a completely
separate area of trademarks. The British court that made the wrestling
federation change the name, frankly, screwed up.
