Maybe that's the problem; the Mormons ought to be using exploding
vests loaded with copies of The Watchtower, so that you'll have to
take at least one that landed, entrail-free, in your living room.

Just imagine, simultaneously enlightened and then bludgeoned to
death by knowledge. The mind boggles. :P

I generally ask them to come over for the human sacrifice we have
every saturday night.

Just tell 'em there are some members of your Coven that have expressed
a personal interest in them and they should be there shortly.

'xaclty. We had some that Mrs Bunyip was overly polite to years ago and
they kept coming back. I don't think I went as far as human
sacrifice, but I did allude to the occult and made some overtures
towards converting them!
It was a bit risky, as they could see you as a challenge. if you weren't
careful, but I think they read between the lines and got the idea and we
didn't see them again afterwards.

It's a matter of degree.

I do find the Mormans and Jehova's Witnesses that come to the door to
be awfully annoying. But they're just trying to get you to take a
copy of "The Watchtower." They don't have an exploding vest.

They aren't trying to kill you, just harass you.

To their questions , "Would you like to hear more about our views and discuss
the how Jehova and Christ, etc. fit into our lives?" I agreed when as a
youngster eager to learn about other views.
But on those few occasions, after having to explain that there are traditions
called Baha'i, Shinto, Tao, many sects of buddhism and in one meeting I had
to describe the existence of Hinuism, I quit.

Now I just politely take their leaflets and use them to start my charcoal
chimney.

Makes them happy and gets my fire started.
Insha' Allah

Well, tried visiting a couple of these, but the prophet muhammed's
site is unable to connect and the true religion site is being rebuilt
from scratch. Guess I'm out of luck.
