Looks a lot like a single color upper surface – one of the “Navy Blue” Malta Spitfires?
The Vokes filter would seem to indicate that too, but I’m not aware of where to check for the serial belonging to one. But it looks like it was tahen in northern Europe with the snow, so was it painted in England and the idea of USN deck Blue painted underway shot?.

I think it had standard RAF camouflage.

The photo was taken on orthochromatic film, which renders colours in a
different way to panchromatic. The dark representation of the outer
yellow ring on the roundel shows this. It also has an effect on the
upper surface colours.

This other photo, which looks as if it was taken at the same time but on
panchromatic film, depicts AB344 with two-colour upper surfaces:

AB344 went aboard Cape Hawk to Gibraltar, and then, as the caption says,
flew off HMS Eagle on 7 March 1942.

Easy enough to solve this modest debate.

No debate here, just stating the facts. That's the photo whose link I
already posted.
