Default Flying to St. Louis for Thanksgiving

I am planning a flight to St. Louis for the holiday. Never having flown there
before, I'm not familiar with the local airfields. It looks like Creve Cour
would be the most convienient as far as proximity to our final destination.
Anyone have any input on other factors regarding airports in the St louis area.
We will be departing St Louis on the Sunday following T-Day, so transient
tiedown policies are a factor.

Thanks for any input you can provide,

Creve Coeur (1H0) is a terrific airport to fly into, if only because of the
museum there. It's also very handy to St. Louis proper, and the larger
hotels will come fetch you.

While you're there, be sure to plan an hour or two to tour the hangars.
The aircraft in the "museum" are actually used, some of them daily -- so you
will get to see what these planes look like in "real life" (as opposed to
the Disney version you'd see at most museums...).

We saw planes *flying* there that we've never even seen before -- and we've
been going to aviation museums for over 25 years. It's a very cool place.
