zero fuel w & b by
d&tm
in my PPL training it was drummed in to me the importance of always doing
the w & b calcs with the fuel you were taking and also the zero fuel case.
I posted sometime ago that with the Warriors I flew it was impossible to go
outside the w & b envelope by burning fuel. I have just finished...

an exercise for sim pilots -- a 1 G roll by
Tony
About a year ago there was a spirited discussion about maintaining a 1
G 'straight into the seat' force while doing a roll (let's define a
roll as rotating the airplane, somehow, 360 degrees around its axis
with respect to the horizon). As I rmember the analysis, if you have
enough control...

Question ? by
T Lee Buyea Fla News Service
Do private pilots land and take off on roads far out in the country,
When there are no cars for miles in any direction ?
Is it legal ? And legal or not do they do it ?
Like a flying veterinarian might do if he services farms over a couple
hundred mile area.
Please send your answer to me also at...

Oil pressure problem by
Aluckyguess
I have a Bonanza V35 with a IO 470. Before and after engine overhaul the oil
pressure after the engine warms up goes just into the red. They have tried
turning the pressure up but this seems to only make the pressure go up when
cold. If the temperature outside is real cool the pressure goes over...

Colorado CAP searches by
Kev
I'm surprised no one has mentioned the CAP searches for stranded
motorists. They kept making the national news for a few days. Good
PR.
Anyone here one of the pilots involved? Anyone know if they found any
people?
Thanks!
Kev

Of course, another local media outlet reports in their version that the
