Man Falls out of 152 by
Chris W
A friend of mine told me he was following this news story where 2 men
were flying in a 152 somewhere in Texas. While making a turn to the
right, the passenger fell out of the plane. This was a few days ago and
my friend hasn't heard any updates. Anyone here know about this and
heard anything...

US Navy F/A-18 Hornet takes a very rough ride during an airshow by
Ditch
So much for proper distance between the display line and the audience during
an airshow !
Huh? Even during the accident sequence, the distance was maintained.
The guy went on to fly for Team America for a few seasons.

Aircraft parts shop in LA area? by
Shkumbin Hamiti
Hi,
I happen to be in Los Angeles, CA, on business, and I was wondering if
someone could tell me if there is a pilot shop and/or aricraft parts shop
where I could walk and buy stuff. In particular I am looking for tyres for
Piper Cherokee. But then while browsing I could find something else to...

TSA - another indignity for permanent residents by
David Brooks
I've lived in this country for many years, paid my taxes, been a
schoolteacher and a Scout leader, and now this:

The restrictions recently placed on 12500 training is being extended to all
aircraft. TSA claims...

NASA's "Vision" by
John T
While some may argue that NASA is overly optimistic at times, they
nonetheless do provide some valuable research - even if the value isn't
always apparent in every project they undertake. I was recently invited to
provide my opinion on a new GA-targeted cockpit display system and I must
say that...

Short field in a Mooney by
AJW
I don't remember going into a field shorter than 2500 feet in my M20J, so don't
really have actual short field experience. Like lots of Mooney jocks though, I
plan my touchdown maybe 1000 feet or so before whatever taxiway I'm planning on
using, and don't often have to use brakes to make the turn. ...

When I bought my current (and first) headset two years ago I bought a pair

I decided to swap the foam ones for the gel seals, and first flew with
them on Saturday -...
