Ugly Glider by
Mike125
I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder but the Slngsby T-53B
listed for sale on W&W has to be one of the homliest gliders I've ever
seen. Still outperforms the slightly less ugly 2-33 (which I'll likely
be flying soon), though.

Flight Analysis with NMEA GPS Data File by
jchutch
I have a handy little BlueTooth GPS logger. I can download files and
then display on GPSVisualer.com, but would love to be able to use
soaring programs to analyze in greater detail. GPSBabel does not
support icg, and programs like SeeYou do not appear to accept NMEA or
types of files generated by...

GAMCC: Glider Aviator's Model Code of Conduct by
Roger Worden
I encountered the AMCC and the SecureAv website at http://www.secureav.com/
while web surfing today. The GAMCC (http://www.secureav.com/GAMCC.pdf) is
the glider-specific version, and was "launched" in May 2007. I presume that
means it was made publicly available at that time, and could be...

Hohloch Mückeputzer-Systeme by
Robert Danewid
I would be gratful if anyone could send me the manaul (in English or
German) of this bugwiper system. I have lost mine and I can not remember
how to calibrate it. And Hohloch does not appear to have a web site.
Thanks in advance

New - Nimbus Cradles for iPAQ 210/211/214 by
Paul Remde
Hi,
A few weeks ago a customer of mine asked me to purchase and setup soaring
software on a new iPAQ 210. I have avoided this PDA in the past because it
doesn't have a built-in RS-232 serial port. But this customer used a CF GPS
so the serial port was not necessary. I was very, very...

LX 1600 and gps by
Mark Jardini
Has anyone been successful hooking a GPS engine up with an LX 1600
through the port where a Colibri would go? That would be with the GPS
engine spliced to an RJ6 flat cable. That port should supply 12v to
the GPS antenna.
I am so far utterly defeated, trying to use a Garmin 18 PC.
Any tips or...

Which PDA ? by
Udo
I am thinking of upgrading my PDA for my GNII.
The display should be readable in sun light. Presently I use a1550 as
primary with a 302 and the 39xx as a back up with a 302A. Maybe I
should get a CAI Nav display and one good PDA. Which one? Please make
recomendations.

Yawns: Rich and young, but frugal
