Reporting abuse of gmail to Google by you-know-who by
Eric Greenwell
MI5 has crossed the line, now that he is deliberately attempting to
evade people's filters against his postings. Since he appears to be
using gmail, I reported about 6 of today's postings to Google, with this
message:
"This poster cross-posts multiple messages this newsgroup that are

OLC and YouTube by
Paul Cordell
As I was looking @ some of the OLC flights posted recently, I
discovered something new in the "Comments" column.
Michael Poe's flight of 1/1/08 has a link to a Video he took on that
flight. Way to go Mike!! I really enjoy the comments that some
pilots make on their OLC submission. Movies are...

Drew Pearce
I have been in the process of creating a glider club
with Hph 304s
'jet option' sailplanes. We have two already on order
with July 2008
delivery dates. I have been unable though to find insurance
for these
gliders. I have tried all the insurance companies found
in Soaring
magazine plus the...

B 50 audio problems by
Vsoars
A year ago I began having audio problems. I would only get the up
sound at 4+. Sometimes, toward the end of the flight, I didn't even
get sound at 5+. The instrument itself tracks the same as the Winter,
and the averager works ( as confirmed by another pilot in the air.).
Additionally, after an...

Parowan, Thinking Outside the Box - An Opportunity Knocks! by
Rick Culbertson
Parowan, thinking outside the box - An opportunity knocks!
Is it just me?
With the obvious decline of soaring participants in our sport
shouldn't we really consider this a "good problem" to have, let me see
if I have this right:
"Way more Pilots want to race, not just fly but race with their...

SPOT Satellite Messenger by
[email protected]
Saw this at the end of my AOPA magazine this month:
http://www.findmespot.com/
Besides being a cheap insurance policy, I love the idea of nagging my
friends via email of my soaring adventures. Some adventure races have
the same type of email notification systems for participants to allow
friends...

Bill Daniels
While I don't know much about this product, especially cost, it might be
worth looking onto for someone familiar with the technology. Maybe it could
be taylored for our specific needs.

nothing recent, so here it goes.
I got my power license two years ago. Shortly after I saw the light
and was converted to gliders. I just passed my glider checkride a
week ago. Alas, now I am back in school in...
