2-33 by
Peter Smith[_2_]
The Harris Hill Soaring Corp. is fortunate to have 3 2-33s, 4 ASK 21s,
a 1-26, a 1-34, a single place Discus & a Duo. Our juniors are trained
in the 2-33, & they then progress to the higher performance ships.
I've not seen any resistance on their part to learning to fly in the
2-33.

2-33 battery installation by
Kurt
We are going to install a panel mount radio etc. in our 2-33. Where
is a good place to mount the battery? We want to be able to remove it
easily for charging.
Thanks
Kurt

2-33 fuselage stand by
Waveguru
Long ago our club had a great stand for the fuselage of a 2-33. It hooked under the steps on each on each side of the fuselage, and it rocked over center with a long bar. It was very stable. Does anybody have plans for one of these?

2-33 question by
Pete Brown
Our 2-33 has an original dual Schweizer probe on the nose
bowl. One of the probes is pitot but I can not figure out if
the other is the static or a TE probe of sorts. Does anyone
know for sure?
Thanks
Pete Brown

2-33 Questions by
P. Corbett
During the process of replacing the fabric on SGS2-33A S/N 258, two
weights were found in the glider. One, a lead weight of about one pound
located at the trailing edge of the elevator and another, a steel bar,
about 4.2 pounds, bolted to the bottom of nose ballast box. Both weights
are called...

2-33 to 1-26 by
Jack
I am about to make the transition from the 2-33 (the only glider I have
flown) to the 1-26.
What are the differences which should be emphasized?

2-33 Trailer Trivia by
Shaun Wheeler
So I bought a 2-33 trailer. Some patina, a bit of rust but nothing serious. Tare measured 920 lbs and it appears to be built to the plans sold for such things. Very light, easy to handle even by myself. Really do like how it is put together.
The axle is a 5 ton with 12 inch overkill break drums...

2-33 trivia, what US states... by
Mark James Boyd
OK, for you guys that love 'em or hate 'em.
If you hate Schweizer 2-33s, go to Arkansas, North Dakota, or Louisiana.
There aren't any registered in these states.
If you love 'em, come to California, with
36 of them!
And for the "I'd love to hear THIS guy's story" drumroll
