Probably when you have something interesting to talk about. Then
again you haven't learned anything from the people with brains.

Fuel Prices For The July Pilgrimage by
Jim Burns[_3_]
Ahh... I forget. Airnav beats 100LL hands down with mogas pricing.
Airnav shows mogas at KISW, but 100LL.com doesn't.
100LL.com doesn't list Portage either.
Are there any other fuel price sites?
Sorry if my posts are out of "sync", but what is up with the groups?

Lost another homebuilder. by
[email protected]
Larry Edwards (age 71) of the Kitchener area of Ontario was building a
scratch-built Pegazair.
He and his father (91 yrs old) went for a sail on Lake Ontario in
their home-built 20 foot sail boat on Wednesday and did not return.
"Speedy" will be missed by the RAA members who knew him

Young Eagle Credits by
Cy Galley
Did you fly 10 or more Young Eagles last year. What are you going to use
your credits for?
My EAA Chapter 75 can use them as we are sending at our expense, not one but
three young people to EAA Air Advanture camp at Oshkosh. EAA gives us a
dollar credit towards the $1000 tuition for each Young...

Location of headset connectors by
Rob Turk
I noticed that on most single or two-seater planes the headset connectors
are behind the seats. What's the benefit of that location versus having the
connectors on or near the instrument panel in front of the pilot?
Thanks,
Rob

Starting a Super Cub Rebuild by
[email protected]
Anybody know of fuselage jigs in the Western North Carolina area or
vicinity?
Also, this aircraft had an O-235 engine with 105 HP. I'm considering
using an O-320A with 150 HP, which weighs just 10 or 20 pounds more.
Anybody got any advice pro or con about the engine change? TIA.

DIY Polebarn hanger? by
mhorowit
Has anyone put up a polebarn hanger by themselves? TElephone poles are
in place, but the airport manager doesn't have the time to work on it
so I'm thinking of doing what I can. There are other PB hangers in the
immediate area, so I can copy from them. Big concern is lifting the
trusses and any...

Defrost blower? by
John S
Can someone suggest a low-current, light-weight, inexpensive 12 volt fan to
use in the defrost branch of the cabin heat line for clearing up a
windscreen while still on the ground, when ram air from the prop may not
amount to much? thanks
