Introducing kids to flying concepts early! by
es330td
I live in Athens, GA near KAHN. On a nice weekend day GA activity is
pretty heavy.
On Saturday I was outside with my kids (6 and 4) while they were doing
various things kids do, including drawing on the driveway with
sidewalk chalk. I noticed a lot of planes in the air so I pulled out
my ICOM...

Old Timers-SoCal by
Ol Shy & Bashful
Was reminded of jumping days in SoCal and wondered if anyone here was
involved in the early days of skydiving there....Elsinore, San Marcos,
Santee, Oceanside, Daggett, Lenwood, Orange County (ON the airport at
SNA). That was during the late 50's early 60's.

What type of connector do Northstar M1 M3 use? by
[email protected]
I want to build a cable to run my M1 & M3 at home in demo mode. Both
navigators use the same connector & pinout for their power (connector
P15 on M3, not sure about M1). The connector looks like a Centronics
24-pin, but the edges are more rounded. I showed my local electronic
store my M3 but...

Arctic Front vs. Gulf of Mexico by
Dallas
Maybe it's just me, but I've never seen a satellite like this. This is the
visible GOES East 01/02/2008 12:29 PM. The front seems to feather the
clouds and I'm not sure why they disappear over Florida.
Anybody know?

I have a Motion LS-800 running Jeppview Flitedeck. I had succefully
interfaced it with my previous aircraft that had a Trimble 2000

moving map output. I used an USB RS-232 coverter and...
