'58 Complementary Triumph TR3 Motorcar by
Jim Weir
My lady has just informed me that she would consider a complementary Triumph TR3
to our classic '58 Cessna 182 a good idea. She's willing to cash in her old
Chevy on the Triumph...oil leaks and all...for a TR-3 of that era.
Anybody got a lead on one of those old rascals?

Ceconite Wings Question by
Captain Wubba
Hello. I'm considering purchasing a plane that has Ceconite wings.
They were recovered last year professionally, and according to an A&P
I asked to have a quick look, were done well and correctly, and have a
UV protectant. My question is the following: I don't have access to a
hanger. This plane...

TKM 170 as a replacement radio by
Ian Taylor
All,
I am looking to upgrade the avionics in my '78 Mooney 201. I am going to
swap out the KY196 and KNS 80 for a Garmin 430 which will drive the KCS-55A
HSI, which leaves me with a KX175B driving a KI-204 as a backup ILS/NAV/COM.
It would be nice to have a "flip-flop" option over there, and...

Spark plug cleaner by
texas slacker
Went out this morning and rolled the Warrior out for a little soul
restoring and piston oiling. It totally fulunked the run-up, tried to
burn the crud off the offending plug, no joy. Took it back to the
hanger and started pulling plugs. They all felt hot so I pulled them
in order. The crudded...

GPS Antenna by
150flivver
Can a single GPS antenna be used for more than one GPS? For example,
is there a splitter available that allows both a panel mount GPS and a
handheld to use an installed GPS antenna?

FAA Medical and pilots with Sleep Apnea by
Chuck
Hi everyone,
I've run into a problem with renewing my medical because of a
diagnosis of Sleep Apnea. It didn't cause me to fail my medical, but
I didn't pass either.
Since the AME had never run into a pilot with Sleep Apnea before, he
wound up calling Oklahoma and talking to the FAA. The FAA...

#5 cylinder not firing by
David R.
We have a 1979 Cessna 182RG with 1350 hours since overhaul. 6 weeks ago,
we began to notice the engine to be rough on the right magneto during
run-up. Over two weeks, it became increasingly difficult to burn it off by
leaning during the run-up, until one day when it became impossible. ...

Early Bonanza or Apache? by
Brinks
We've been out shopping for an early model Bonanza, and in the process I
went and looked at an Apache that happened to be at the same airport as the
Bo I was looking at. The guy selling it was thinking that the Apache was
probably as inexpensive to own as the Bonanza. Here's his reasons:

ECI vs. Millenium vs. Continental cylinders by

I've read through the archives.... but would still like to hear a few more
real world experiences before I spend $7-8K on a set of IO-520 cylinders.
Anybody out there have enough hours on an overhaul using new ECI Cermi-Nil
cylinders to write home about? How about Milleniums? I'm...

I am looking to purchase a piper arrow, most likely a late 60's to early 70's vintage. This will be the first airplane that I've owned. Are there any Arrow owners that can give me some pointers?

Hope there are some attorneys or people with knowledge that can help me with this.
