Going to Gatlinburg TN by
Kobra
Flyers,
I am flying from N14 to Gatlinburg, TN (KGKT) in mid-April for an
anniversary trip with my wife. My wife HATES turbulence and asked me to do
everything in my power to mitigate it's effects on our flight.
My first thoughts are to fly:
1) in the early morning
2) on the downwind side...

Have had recent past with XCor folks, they are straight shooters. I

AOPA or Golden Eagle... or what? by
Dallas
I've been using AOPA's Real-Time Flight Planner, but CSC DUATS GoldenEagle
FlightPrep looks more comprehensive. I'd like to know which one is better
and I'm also wondering what else might be out there that I don't know
about.
My question is, what flight planning software do you use?

Skydiver NMAC by
Steven P. McNicoll[_2_]
A short video clip showing a near collision between a skydiver and a
light single was just shown on "Fox & Friends". The airplane looked
like a Navion with the gear extended, but it went by rather quickly.
Anyone have any additional information on this?

Why no remote unlock? by
Robert M. Gary
I use my plane for family transportation. So the wife and kids don't
see a lot of difference between running out to the plane to go to
Mexico vs. going out to the car. So when the family runs out ahead and
we have the car I hit the remote unlock. The other day my wife asked
why the plane doesn't...
