hardware to mount avionics trays by
Matthew M. Jurotich
Somebody at AirVenture 2003 presented the best of what's new in the vendor
areas. There were several hardware and software awards. One of the
hardware awards was a system that let you accurately position avionics trays
in the panel. It was called something like "radio racks". If you...

Preheating schemes? by
Michael Horowitz
I'd be interested in any schemes you may have developed for
pre-heating your engine.
One idea I heard was to use flex ducting to direct car exhaust into
the cowling; that does present CO concerns, but on could leave the a/c
doors open. - Mike

Thanks! by
Lloyd Herod, Jr
Hi Pam;
Wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed your company at BLT Saturday
night. I'm glad you enjoyed the show.
It was an interesting play, loved the costumes, and thought the casting
was great. Those times certainly seem to be much different than today.

Aluminum gear by
W. D. Shellenberger
I have an aluminum landing gear made by Metal Masters.
It was purchased for a single seat homebuilt and never used.
I would be glad to part with it for a reasonable offer.

Tecumseh Engine Mounting Question by
jlauer
Wondering if you have someone could provide an answer to an engine
installation question. I have a hovercraft that uses a Tecumseh LEV
80-120 5.5 hp engine for the lifting propeller.
The question is weather the engine can be mounted with the
piston/spark plug facing down (incline is at 22 degress...

I gave jaun enough rope to make a fool of himself .So just for the record you
can go to the following sites and see copies of my registrations for my 97 ,00
and 03 Dodge Ram trucks, all with my name listed as the owner. Everyone knows
that you can't get plates and registrations without titles.

Rand Robinson KR-2 opinions... by
Ralph Snart
I'm a student pilot who is always looking to the next project. I am
finishing the resotoration of a 1967 Ford Mustang this winter, so next
spring, I will need a new project (money pit). The Rand Robinson KR-2 has
caught my eye - inexpensive, moderately simple design (as compared to other
kits,...

Fuel Selector Valve by
Jay
For a low wing aircraft with dual wing tanks, what is the point of
having a fuel selector valve. It seems to be a source of some fuel
exhaustion caused accidents. Wouldn't it just be easier to feed off
both simultaniously?

Clup prop by
Corky Scott
I'm looking for a club prop I can use to break in/test an engine. I
could use a regular prop I suppose, but the engine will be on a test
stand and I'd rather have something with a reduced diameter for
safety.
The engine will be producing around 180 to 190 hp and I'd like to be
able to run it up...

Rotax 912 Questions by
Steve Robertson
I'm a longtime pilot who is getting interested in building a plane. I've
got lots of experience flying (and paying for maintenance) behind
LyContisuarus engines, so that's all I understand.
Some of the designs I'm interested in recommend the Rotax 912 engine.
These seem to come equipped with twin...
